Horizon Science Academy Twin Cities Summer School Program

As we know this will be a summer like no other due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but Horizon Science Academy Twin Cities is prepared to move full speed ahead to offer ALL children the opportunity to engage daily in Math, English, and Language Arts activities and learning through our first summer school program that will be delivered in a digital environment! We had a very successful distance learning period and we received lots of good feedback and we will have the Summer Academy in the same setting.

This opportunity is FREE for all students who completed Grades K-5 this school year.

Horizon Science Academy Twin Cities has developed the Distance Learning Summer Academy to ensure all students have access to high-quality learning opportunities at home through the summer to avoid summer slide while enhancing their knowledge.

Summer Academy begins the week of June 22nd and is intended to reduce the disruption of learning for our students by providing alternative instruction through July 30th. The courses will be facilitated by HSATC licensed, highly qualified teachers and they will be available throughout the summer to work with your students. We designed the Summer Academy in three groups, or  “Tiers” as we call them, to meet the needs of students at different levels. Please see the schedule of the classes for students in different Tiers.

For those families who wish to take advantage of the Distance Learning Summer Academy, the registration window for those students who completed grades K-5 will open on June 10th and close on Friday, June 18th at 4:00 p.m. Please click the link below to register.
